To Deck or Not to Deck

I really hated our deck. I wanted to rip it out, open the yard to make more play space. It was large, cumbersome, not conducive to entertaining, had ugly seating, etc., etc. The only thing it was really good for was for riding scooters in tight, tiny circles. All our neighbors knew that finally the snow had melted when the raucous rumble from the backyard began.



And then one day inspiration struck. The sander and paint came out.
And now the kids aren't allowed to ride on the deck anymore.
