The Loose Tooth

Oh what a joy it is
To be a little boy who is
experimental and courageous

He wiggles it and wobbles it
and fears that he will swallow it
But messing with it simply is contagious

For days he's talked about this
For days he's dreamed about this
And now to get it out absolutely is a must

One minute he's eating his lunch
The next he no longer can munch
And now he knows only in himself can he trust

Off to the bathroom he goes
Moments later he's back and in his hand this is what he shows:
His Tooth!

He used it towards his first Webkinz...a snake!

How did the tooth fairy arrive at the amount of .90?? Too cheap for a whole dollar? What is a Webkinz?

Oh, the tooth fairy indeed brought an entire dollar...in dimes, so that it was easy for Mitchell to pay his tithing. What a Tooth Fairy, working to teach good principles!

A Webkinz is a new way to force parents to have stuffed animals around the house while also forcing parents to teach their kids how to use a computer, but really all the parent wants to do is throw away the entire huge basket of stuffed animals that have somehow amassed over the years and remain un-played with and ban children from the from the computer until they can read!

Carrie you think of everything, teaching tithing and savings at such a young age, how do you keep up with everything?...I love when little kids start loosing their teeth! It's so cute. Tell Mitchell congrats for me!

It is cute, Brooke...especially when Mitchell told me yesterday (after he had lost his second tooth) that he couldn't believe he was so strong that he broke his tooth while he pulled it out. I looked in his mouth and said "sorry dude, that's the new tooth pushing up."
