Well, this last week held HUGE excitement...and to think that I was so worried about my boys not adjusting to our move that I almost missed it! Yes, the YaYas, as we refer to ourselves, got together for the second annual girls getaway and really I don't know how we can top this in the future, but we found ourselves in Chicago for none other than a chance to go to a taping of OPRAH!!!! And what a show we got! But it was rated TV14 so I don't think we'll actually go into a discussion of the topic, just suffice it to say that there were 4 Mormon girls sitting on the third row, front and center, and when we found out what the topic was going to be we laughed (and maybe blushed) so hard I wasn't really sure we could keep "radio silence" during the taping. But we did. And we are certain to be empowered women now.

hey thunder- brooke and i were just watching the pillsbury bake off and we were thinking that you should totally do it. I think you wold have fun and, hey, who couldn't use a million bucks?
I think I know what show it was as I turned it off! All about women's anatomy, etc.! I was embarrassed watching it at home! But, what an experience. I hear that Oprah is just beautiful in person! That is so neat that you have these special friends. How did the kids do without you?

I just checked out megan's blog. I love that, that was the show you ended up at. Awesome. I guarantee you will get at least 5 seconds of fame because you guys must of worn your nervousness about the topic all over your face. Post the date that it will be on t.v.

Yes, Brooke, she does...and I'm not sure I'm ready to have that conversation with my eight-year old.
And besides, it was not really sex 101, it was an advanced course such as Sex 600...not that there's anything wrong with that.
It's for sure you probably don't want your mother to hear that Megan got her to babysit for you while you went to some show that would surely burn her ears hearing about it!!!!! Love you - glad you had fun. Your Mother
